The Assam government has announced the dates of Gunotsav, 2025 to be held in three phases in all the 35 districts.
The first phase of Gunotsav will be held on January 6, 7,8, and 9 in 11 districts- Barpeta, Bajali, Karimganj, KarbiAnglong Kamrup, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Nogaon , Morigaon, Sivasagar, South Salmara-Mancachar, and Udalguri.
The second of Gunotsav will be held on January 17,20,21 and 22 2, in 14 districts at Baksa, Chirang, Charaideo, Dhemaji , Dhubri, Golaghat , Hojai , Sontipur,Tamulpur, Tinisukia ,Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup (M), and West Karbi Anglong.
The third phase of Gunotsav will be held from February, 4,5,6 and 7 in 10 districts of Biswanath, Bongaigaon, Darrang, majuli , Goalpara, Karbi Anglong, Cachar, Morigoan, Dima Hasao and Nalbari.
Gunotsav, is an initiative of the State Government focuses mainly on assessment of learning outcomes of children for identifying learning gaps and subsequently designing remedial measures for improvement.
